In this hands-on SCORE workshop, you'll learn:

  • to use an easy visual editor to create a new professional-looking website from scratch -- no technical or design experience required!
  • a secret copywriting formula for getting your website visitors to do what you want
  • the essential techniques to optimize your website for search engine results, and how to boost your rankings using social media

Presenter Joe Wellborn has been developing websites since Netscape came in a box, and has been a professional designer even longer. He has serviced many national brands, such as American Airlines, Time Life Publishing, the Smithsonian Institution, Haggar Apparel Company, National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, the San Francisco Opera, and many more. Now he specializes in helping small businesses achieve success through strategic and beautifully designed websites. Presenter Karim Ardalan has a passion for helping small businesses grow. Through his web design company — Multimedia Internet Services (MIS, Inc.), he has worked with hundreds of clients all over the world, helping them with their websites and digital engagement strategy. In addition to Web Development, he enjoys creating apps for the Weebly platform and is a Square Solutions Partner.  Mr. Ardalan is Co-Founder of RapidSites.Pro.
