Letter from the President

Happy New Year! New Year, new goals and new friends to train with. It was so great to see and meet new faces at the party. The board is planning an exciting year ahead for the team, we hope you will join in when and where you can. Coming to meetings and training events helps you get more tied into the team and get to know each other better.  Enjoy this off season to rest, recover and re-energize for this year. A.O.M Athlete of the Month Mary Potter When you meet Mary, you immediately know she has a wonderful sense of humor. She has an energy that is positive and encouraging. Mary is a nurse who has been at this crazy sport for 9 years now. She completed NC 70.3 this past fall and kicked butt! Mary says her Best Triathlon training or racing tip is to " Listen to your body!! Never compare yourself to other people!" Great advice!
