Stock Transfer Instructions Have Changed
Many donors find that gifting appreciated stock or mutual funds is a convenient charitable vehicle that may also result in lowering their tax liability. If you have made such gifts in the past,  please be aware that our stock transfer instructions have changed. We will be happy to provide you or your financial professional with updated instructions. IPCF Welcomes New Staff Member
Michele Evans has joined Illinois Prairie Community Foundation as Grants & Communications Director. She will replace Kathi Davis, who will retire June 30.

Michele comes to the Foundation with a wealth of communications experience. 
Michele Evans
Most recently, she was Director of Communications at Special Olympics Illinois for the past 18 years. Before that, she was a copy editor at The Pantagraph for 10 years. Michele is involved with Special Opportunities Available in Recreation in Bloomington as a coach/
program instructor for people with disabilities and assists Immanuel Bible Foundation in Normal with marketing.

A longtime resident of Bloomington-Normal and a graduate of Illinois State University, Michele serves on ISU's School of Communication Advisory Board. She looks forward to helping connect people in DeWitt, Livingston, Logan and McLean counties with the causes that most matter to them.

General, Arts & Culture, and Shulman
Award Winners Announced
Illinois Prairie Community Foundation has awarded $150,200 in three categories of grants to 54 programs in 
McLean, DeWitt, Livingston and Logan counties. Grants ranged from $600 to $8,200. Funding came from the Jerome Mirza Foundation, donors to the Foundation's annual campaign and endowments.

There were 27 General Grants totaling $58,328 for programs in the fields of education, environment, health and wellness and youth; 23 Arts and Culture Grants totaling $71,672; and 4 Sol Shulman Jewish Life and Education Grants totaling $20,200. Read More
"Women Together" Art Show and Sale

Join us on Tuesday, May 23, and Wednesday, May 24, for "Women Together," an art show and sale featuring the work of watercolor artist Gayle Miller.

 

Take this opportunity to view some exciting artwork while socializing with other art enthusiasts in Central Illinois. The show will be from 5-8 p.m. May 23 and 3-7 p.m. May 24, with an opening reception on the first evening.

 

Gayle, formerly of Bloomington, will donate 40 percent of her sales to the Women to Women Giving Circle. Works by members of the Inside Out Accessible Art Co-op will also be on display for sale.
