We are pleased to announce that the Brandywine Creek Greenway app is now available to download, giving you a new way to discover and explore over 100 parks and preserves open to the public within the Greenway.
Click here to download the app.
The app is GPS-enabled and by default will display a list of the closest places to the user’s current location or there is an option on a second tab to select a desired activity and the app will narrow the list of places accordingly. Each park/preserve entry contains a short description of the park, swipeable pictures, directions to the location (uses your default mapping program) and a tips/notes page with information such as hours of operation.
Brandywine Conservancy staff has been compiling the information used within the app for the past year and, while we believe that the information contained within the app is accurate, please let us know should you find any errors or omissions. We have the ability to edit the information contained within the app, which includes adding/editing new park or preserve entries and updating photographs.
The app is available for IOS (Apple devices) and we hope to have the Android version ready for release in the next few weeks, hopefully by the next Greenway newsletter publication. If you have any questions or comments, please contact Michael Denlinger (mdenlinger@brandywine.org)
