Happy May! It really feels like spring is here, and with the spring season brings a busier Wabasha! May kicks off with the Spring Seasonal Boutiques open May 4th to the 21st. Make a plan to stop and visit Grandpa's Barn, the Anderson House Boutique, and Laura's Treasures, open 10:00am to 5:00pm every day.
The boutiques are the perfect place to pick up decorations for your home or a gift for birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, or just because! The 100 Mile Garage Sale also kicks off May 4th - what a great weekend to get some serious shopping in!
On May 18th, the next Chamber Chew is happening at Hill's Hardware starting at 5:30pm. The Chamber Chew is an opportunity for us to come together to connect, network, and engage in the life of our Chamber and members. All are welcome to attend!
Of course, we cannot talk about May without mentioning Taste of Wabasha at the National Eagle Center. Another great event and opportunity to sample the delicious food our area restaurants have!

Fishing for Eagles
On Wednesdays and Thursdays during summer, kids aged 15 and under fish for free with admission! Program runs through Labor Day.
Bald Eagle Days. 2017 marks the 10 year anniversary of the bald eagle's removal from the Endangered Species List. The National Eagle Center will celebrate with pontoon rides on the Mississippi River courtesy of the US Fish & Wildlife Service and more.
Don't miss out on the Taste of Wabasha on Saturday, May 20th! Tickets are still available for just $35 - get them soon before they are gone. There will be an exciting silent auction, great food from area restaurants and local brewery tastings from Reads Landing Brewing Co and Turning Waters Back Alley Brewing Co - all to support the eagles!
