Our second Lunch & Learn will be Tuesday, October 29 ^th from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Our topic is "Does the Thought of Downsizing or Moving Overwhelm You?", presented by Jill Freeman. Learn tips that will help if you are considering an upcoming move or simply want to declutter for the future. Lunch & Learn sessions are free and open to everyone. Music Notes from Tom Paulson

This is Reformation Sunday, a celebration not only of Martin Luther and his 95 thesis, but of the on-going reformation of the church of Jesus Christ. As a sign of the celebration we will be led in worship at both morning services by our Crown Brass. For all services, wear something red, a sign of the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Christmas Cantata Choir Rehearsal

Starts November 13

We need singers, instrumentalists and readers.

Rehearsal schedule is 6:45 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. Wednesdays: 11/13, 11/20, 12/4, 12/11 & 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday 12/14.

Cantata Sunday is December 15 ^th, 9:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m., with the option of singing Christmas Eve as well.

Kitchen Hospitality Coordinator Needed

We are seeking a Kitchen Hospitality Coordinator who will be responsible for scheduling and overseeing all Sunday morning hospitality volunteers. The volunteers will be responsible for making coffee and organizing treats for fellowship after each worship service. If you are interested in coordinating hospitality please contact Pastor Reggie.

Senior High Mission Trip Registration

Attention all 8 ^th – 12 ^th graders! Registration for the Summer 2020 mission trip is closing soon. We are heading to the Navajo Nation in Arizona to serve June 14 ^th - 19 ^th . Our actual travel days will depend on flight availability. Check out this powerpoint for more information.

We currently have space reserved for 4 more students until October 28 ^th , at which time we will release any unused spots. Please reserve your spot here (works best on a computer) and bring your $50 non-refundable deposit to the Mission Trip mailbox at Crown of Glory.

We're looking forward to traveling with a great group of students and getting to know everyone through fundraisers and team building activities throughout the school year!

For all visitors and guests looking to make Crown of Glory their church home, you are invited to the New Member Dinner and Orientation on Sunday, November 3 ^rd from 5:00 p.m.- 6:30 p.m . in the Sun Hall! We’ll begin the evening with a meal and orientation to Crown of Glory membership will follow!

If your family is interested in joining us for this New Member Dinner and Orientation please either contact Pastor Reggie, Pastor Laura or go to our website and click the "New Members" button to get signed up electronically, it's quick and easy!

New Member Welcome

Join us for worship as we welcome New Member families on Saturday, November 9 ^th and Sunday, November 10 ^th during each of our worship services. Families will be introduced and following worship, all will share in fellowship in the Sun Hall!

Care Packages for College and Military Youth

We will be gathering on Sunday, November 10 ^th at 10:15 a.m. after the first service to assemble care packages for our college and military youth.

Please submit the name and mailing address for your child to the church office or by email to peters_deb@hotmail.com or dndquaas@gmail.com by Friday, November 8 ^th .

If you can join us, please bring a snack/treat to be shared among the packages (approximately 25-30) and/or money to help defer the cost of postage.

We are excited to reach out to the youth and help them feel connected with the congregation at Crown of Glory.
