This meeting is a demonstration meeting to show you what Toastmasters is all about. You will experience how to use your words more effectively, listen more accurately, and speak off the cuff. This is known as Impromptu speaking, where you can answer any random questions in an unique, interesting and fun way that will capture your audience attention. You will also learn how to speak without using so's, um's or ah's...our favorite go to words when we do not know what to say next.

Inclement Weather Policy
Because the Central Maryland Chamber serves members in several counties, the following inclement weather policy has been established:

If any one of the three county school systems (Anne Arundel, Howard, Prince George’s) closes due to inclement weather, all chamber activities for the day will be cancelled.

If any one of the three county school systems has a 2 hour delay, all chamber activities prior to noon will be cancelled.

If any one of the three county school systems closes early due to weather, all chamber evening activities will be cancelled.
