Today I spent some time looking through quotes about All Saints' Day and quotes from well-known saints. I wanted to choose something that would be reflective of our celebration of All Saints' Day tomorrow. As I looked and looked, I came upon this quote from St. Teresa of Avila. It seemed so appropriate to use with all of the "bad weather" we have endured this week. Let us remember that sunny days and rainy days are from God. Though such days can change our plans, we must remember God's plan for us is not always what we expected. His plan for us is greater than what we can hope for or imagine. Please join us tomorrow for Mass at 9:00 as we celebrate All Saints' Day.
Tomorrow afternoon teachers will be emailing Parent-Teacher Conference sign-ups to parents via Sign Up Genius. Sign Up Genius is a program that allows parents to sign up online for their conferences. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held at school on November 14. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to meet with your child's teacher and schedule a conference.
Mrs. Blanco, our reading intervention/special education teacher has been spending time in each of our K-8 classrooms. She is working with individual children and with children in small groups with reading and in other curriculum areas when necessary.
