FoodSquire recipient of SSYP 
2017 Foundation Grant
The South Shore Young Professionals, an affiliate of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, has announced FoodSquire as the recipient of its 2017 Foundation Grant in the amount of $10,000.  FoodSquire, located in Marshfield, is a restaurant food delivery service application in which consumers search the FoodSquire website ( www.foodsquire.com ), select from among participating restaurants, pay and then enjoy upon delivery.  Read more here.  

Cape Cod Five Promotes Amanda Constant to Harwich Port Branch Manager
Amanda Constant has been promoted to Branch Manager of Cape Cod Five's Harwich Port Banking Center. Amanda joined Cape Cod Five in 2006 and most recently served as Assistant Branch Manager of the Bank's Orleans location. Prior to this, she held the positions of Teller, Senior Teller and Head Teller in the Bank's Orleans and Chatham locations.  Read more here.

Nauset Disposal donates to two local nonprofits
On December 14, 2017, Nauset Disposal donated funds to two local organizations. President of Nauset Disposal, Shawn DeLude, presented a check for $10,000 to Barbara Milligan, Executive Director of the Cape & Islands United Way. That same day, Nauset Disposal also presented Deb McGee, Development Director of the Center for Coastal Studies, with a check for $7,500. These donations were a result of proceeds from Nauset Disposal's annual fundraiser, Trash Bash, which was held on October 20 th  in Orleans and raised funds for five local nonprofits.  Read more here.

Cape Cod Community College seeks nominations 
for 2018 Alumni of the Year Award
Cape Cod Community College is reintroducing its Alumni of the Year Award in 2018, and is seeking nominations. This prestigious award will be presented during the Commencement ceremonies in May. John Cox, President of the College, will introduce and honor two recipients of the award, an individual who attended or graduated from CCCC more than 10 years ago, and an individual who attended or graduated within the past 10 years.   Read more here.
