DALLAS UNITARIAN   |  May 12, 2017

Rev. Beth Dana tells us about child dedication this Sunday and asks us to reflect on our role as a community in the spiritual growth of our children.
THIS SUNDAY @ FIRST UNITARIAN
Join us in worship (10:00 & 11:30 am) for Rev. Beth Dana's sermon, "Mother's Day Lessons" with music provided by Jamee Walker on flute.

No Inquirers' Class will be held on Sunday. Classes resume next week.

For those who have completed the Inquirers series and are wondering what's next, we encourage you to join the Beyond Inquirers class beginning this Sunday at 10am in Room 304.

If you have yet to meet with the Love First team, please stop by the table in Channing Hall or email us.  Our goal is to complete the campaign by June 11, and you can help make this happen by scheduling a visit soon or when we get in touch with you. Thank you for supporting the vision to put Love First! Learn more HERE.

PARKING: The  YMCA parking garage is open for church-goers. Please remember to leave spaces on Normandy and St. Andrews for senior and mobility-impaired members.

OUR CARING COMMUNITY

We share in joy with Linda Dolittle on birth of Grandson Clark Doolittle, born May 2nd, to son John and daughter-in-law Rose.

We send thoughts and prayers to many; staff members Nohemi Reynoso  and Jesus Mura, as Nohemi’s boyfriend Gilbert Zuñiga, and Jesus’s mother Caridad Mura, both face recent cancer diagnoses. Elaine and Paul Carter, as Paul recovers from a severe bicycle accident, David, Kelly and Lauren Ferebee, as Lauren faces health challenges, and Alan and Gwen Lummus, and Alan’s continued health complications.

Our hearts are with those who grieve, Francis and Kay Fuselier as they mourn Francis' mother Mabel who died on April 28th, Lewis Lee, whose father, 63 year church member John Aubrey Lee, 104, died May 1st, and Jon, Mariel and William Pettee as they mourn wife and mother Carol, who died on May 5th after an 8-year battle with cancer.
