Something familiar... Something peculiar...
Something for everyone:
A comedy tonight!
November 23 - December 8

Broadway's greatest farce is light, fast-paced, witty, irreverent, politically incorrect, and one of the funniest musicals ever written.  A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum takes comedy back to its roots, combining situations from time-tested, 2000-year-old comedies of Roman playwright, Plautus, with the infectious energy of classic vaudeville.
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is a nonstop laughfest in which Pseudolus, a crafty slave, struggles to win the hand of a beautiful, but slow-witted, courtesan named Philia for his young master, Hero, in exchange for freedom. The plot twists and turns with cases of mistaken identity, slamming doors and a showgirl or two.

West Side Story
: Classic. Powerful. Groundbreaking. Heartbreaking.  All words that have been used to describe one of Broadway's most memorable and iconic pieces of musical theatre.

Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City as two young, idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks. The story of their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence, and prejudice became one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching musicals of all time, and the subject matter is as relevant today as it was when the show opened in 1957.

Aces & Knaves, a film that zooms in on the players, the scandals, and the intense competition inside the world of bridge will be screened on December 29th at 7 pm at the Mizner Park Cultural Center in Boca Raton. "No doubt the best documentary on bridge ever made," Michael Becker, a member of the American Contract Bridge League Hall of Fame said recently. Becker, along with fellow bridge champion Gavin Wolpert, will join the film's director Jackie Paré for a Q&A following the screening.

Aspiring ace Bill Gates, along with some of the best players on the planet, share tales of exhilaration and defeat in Aces & Knaves. The film mixes vintage stills and old movie footage with dramatic coverage of international tournaments. It is aimed not only at not only at bridge enthusiasts, but also at those who have never picked up a hand. "Why?" asks director Paré. "Because bridge holds a mirror to the human spirit - at its best and as its worst. And like life, it's all about the cards you're dealt. You have to make the best of them."
