November is National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo. The Savage Library invites writers of all levels and genres to jumpstart or restart their project by offering time and space to commit to their writing project. This will be unguided time for you to work on your writing project. We will provide refreshments for fuel, writing prompts for inspiration, books about writing for guidance, and the large meeting room for a room of your own (with other people)!

Join us for an evening with local author and carver, Neil Gillis! Neil is writing about the historic journey of the cowboys in America. He tells his story through words and carved images. Neil will be at the library to talk about his creative process, from research, carving, and writing his book. Neil's carved diorama will be on display at the library throughout the month of November so stop in to take a look before you spend the evening with us!
