It's A Wrap
One if by land, two if by sea - well, something like that! Barrel Bag first launched its beach cleanup bag back in September, 2018. Since then, over 6,250 bags have been distributed to members of our grassroots community who make pitching in a priority.. This community has made it clear that plastic and litter pollution may end at the shores and in our oceans, but the problem also begins on land, in our parks, near our waterways and in our neighborhoods. To better represent our mission of helping to eliminate litter pollution - particularly plastic - around the world, we are launching a redesign of our bag. Here is it for the first time! We hope you love it as much as we do.
Re-design Digital Mock up
The new bag will still have the same elastic and drawstring closure features. We have increased the eco-friendly/recycled printed panel to 50% of the bag - up from 33%
Back Panel
The 10x12 blank area is reserved for companies to print their co-branded content.

Can you say "Excited?"

The Wordpress " Do Anything Campaign" video featuring Barrel Bag and Tucker is almost here. We received word this week that we about to go live! We will be sure to share it with you as soon as it launches. Check out some of the other videos that are part of this exclusive campaign.
The "Power of One?"

Barrel Bag recently became an approved non-profit member of 1% for the Planet. This means member companies can opt to donate 1% of their revenues to Barrel Bag with confidence.

In 2002, Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, created 1% for the Planet as a way for businesses to give 1% of their sales back to the environment-whether or not they were profitable. Find out more
Aw, We are Blushing...

The City of San Mateo, California marked the 35 th  anniversary of its Bayfront Cleanup with an incredible turnout from the community. Just over 1,000 volunteers showed up to clean our shorelines on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019. In all, 3,500 pounds of garbage was removed from the natural habitat along San Francisco Bay. Volunteers also removed 20 pounds of recycling, all from about 1.5 miles of San Francisco Bay shoreline. To thank our volunteers, the City gifted 2019 participants with a uniquely-branded Barrel Bag. The bag became an instant hit with participants, each took pride in how it was made and that it spoke to their commitment to our shared environment.
