My name is Maya Levin, and I am a seventh grader at Eastmont Middle School. I have a younger sister, Riley, and a younger brother, Sean. Our family also has two adorable cats named Luna and BFG (Big Fluffy Guy).
I was born in Florida and my family moved to Utah when I was five years old. I have been a student at Rafi Schwartz Religious School since Kindergarten.
Gymnastics is a huge part of my life. Most of my time outside of school is spent in the gym. I have been a competitive gymnast since I was seven years old and currently train 22 hours per week. This year I will be competing as a level 9 gymnast for Olympus Gymnastics. My favorite event is beam and my least favorite event is vault. My goal is to earn a gymnastics scholarship to college.
Between gym and school, there is not much time to do much else. When I do have free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and hanging out with my friends. I also like to read, play board and card games, make up dances with my sister, throw darts, play with my cats, and do arts and crafts projects.
For my
Tikkun Olam Bat Mitzvah project, I am volunteering at the Humane Society on Sundays.

Congregation Kol Ami is a congregation for all our people. We are a vibrant, inclusive, participatory, egalitarian community that values the rich traditions of our heritage. By donating to the High Holiday Appeal, you will receive far more than you give.
As the synagogue continues to grow, we are expanding our programming with more adult education classes, social experiences, community holiday celebrations, and reinvigorating our Kol Ami Jewish Youth (KAJY) program. Kol Ami strives to offer a secure Jewish home where we and our children can come to learn, grow, pray, and celebrate.
All these exciting programs and activities, security upgrades, and both maintenance and improvement of the building costs money. By generously giving to the 5780 / 2019 High Holiday Appeal, YOU can help us reach our full potential. Remember that Kol Ami is YOUR Jewish home where every person counts and everyone is welcome.
Donations may be paid in lump sum or we can set up a monthly credit card payment schedule. Donations made by Tuesday, December 31st will be counted towards this year's High Holiday Appeal.
PLEASE RETURN YOUR LANYARDS
There is a basket by the office to drop off your High Holiday lanyards.
Our monthly dinners are made possible by the charitable donations from our community. Please help us continue this Kol Ami tradition by donating to our “Dinner At The Shul” Fund or sponsoring a dinner for $360.
Make sure to RSVP so we know how many people to cook for!
