2020 Forest Preserve Calendar Now Available
Support our “Natural Treasure”

The 11th edition of the Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation calendar is now available.

The calendar showcases striking photos of scenes within the Sea Pines Forest Preserve captured by the camera lens of James Hartley Smith.

To purchase a calendar, visit the CSA Administration office at 175 Greenwood Drive. The cost of the calendar is $10 with payment accepted by cash or check only. Please make your checks payable to Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation.
 
A second option to own and enjoy this beautiful calendar is to contribute $75 or more through the Forest Preserve annual solicitation (coming soon). The foundation is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and therefore is tax deductible.

Fish Island in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve 

Support the Sea Pines Forest Preserve by attending their fall fundraising event on Friday, November 8th.  The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation is a 501-(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization and all proceeds from this event will benefit the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. The event will feature a delicious Lowcountry inspired menu, an open bar, live music and a limited silent auction.  Click here to print menu.

Tickets are $75 per person or reserve a table for eight (8) for $750.

How do I purchase a ticket?

In person: Visit the CSA Administration Office 175 Greenwood Dr. Hilton Head, SC (M-F 7:30 am-4:30 pm) Cash or check accepted.

Online: Click here to order your tickets online. Online sales end November 6th at 4:30 pm and a convenience fee will be applied when processing credit cards through Eventbrite.

Sea Pines CSA Maintenance Updates
Lighthouse Road Project (Site prep work begins next Monday Oct. 14)

  • Infrastructure repair and road resurfacing of Lighthouse Road from Plantation Drive to Harbour Town will begin Monday, October 14th.
  • Road signage for this project was installed today, silt fencing and tree protection installation will begin early next week.
  • The entire project includes drainage work, curb repairs, realigning crosswalks and road resurfacing.
  • During this project traffic will alternate lanes with flag persons, as the drainage work will take place in the roadway.
  • The project is expected to take 12 weeks, weather permitting.
Widening of the North Sea Pines Drive Leisure Trail
 
  • The North Sea Pines Drive Leisure Trail widening project is underway and expected to be completed next week, weather permitting.
  • Signs are posted for bikers to dismount and walk their bikes through the Marriott Monarch Parking Lot when the trail is not passable.

Plantation Drive Leisure Trail Project

  • The resurfacing of Plantation Drive Leisure Trail from Greenwood Drive to Lighthouse Road will occur Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 16 & 17, and is expected to take a couple of days to complete, weather permitting.
  • Milling and paving will occur in stages along the project area.
  • There will be "walk your bike" signs asking you to dismount and walk in the areas that are currently under active construction.
Welcome BrightView, CSA's new Ground Maintenance Service Provider

  • CSA welcomes BrightView, our new Ground Maintenance Service Provider beginning Nov 1, 2019. You will begin to see their trucks throughout the community working to help beautify and maintain our flower beds, open space and other landscaped areas managed by CSA.

Public Invited to Participate in a Community Survey for the Town of Hilton Head Island’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan
During the month of October, the Town of Hilton Head Island will be hosting an online community survey for its Parks and Recreation Master Plan. Information gathered from the survey will be used to help develop the Town's master plan, which includes determining the Town's priorities and funding strategies for improving its parks and recreation facilities.
