Developers envision a new three-story building
for the site currently occupied by the Vienna Beef factory at the Damen, Elston and Fullerton Avenues. Plans presented at a community meeting recently, hosted by Alderman Waguespack (32nd), would replace the factory with a dining and entertainment complex and a heated driving range.

Overnight Parking Ban Begins December 1st
Overnight parking is banned
on certain major streets from December 1st to April 1st. The ban can also kick in on any date if there are two or more inches or more of snow on the ground. If your car is towed, it will result in a $150 towing fee, $60 ticket, and a storage fee of $20 per day. Should your car be towed, you can locate it on the Chicago Police Department's link, below.

As excerpted from an article in the Cook County Record, "Unions representing Illinois’ public workers can not be forced to refund any of the “untold billions” of dollars in fees they had unconstitutionally collected from non-union workers for four decades, a federal appeals court has ruled, because the unions collected the fees in “good faith,” relying on their “good luck” of having both state law and a later-overturned Supreme Court decision on their side for all those year"
