Elmer Davis once said "This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave".
Here at Metron Support Services, we honor all veterans and current members of the Armed Forces. We would like to thank all of them for their service and are proud of those who now work with our team.
Joel Riling, United States Navy - 26 years
I always wanted to fly and my father had served in the Navy during WWII.
Drew Smith, United States Navy - 9 years
As a young child, I always knew I wanted to join the Navy. I am a 3rd generation sailor following my Dad, and my Grandfather. I joined the Delayed Entry program at the end of my junior year in high school, and then shipped off to Boot Camp.
Dan Holmstadt, United States Army - 8 years
I was 19. I wanted to expand my horizons and see what I was
capable of achieving.
Austin Amraen, United States Navy - 4 years
When I was 12, I started to take an interest in war and military history. My grandfather (WWII, Navy), aunt (Navy), uncle (Navy), and cousin (Marines) all served in the military. I decided I wanted to serve my country so at the age of 17, I enlisted and became the third generation to serve in the Navy.
Ben Klein, United States Army - 4 years
I always had the want to serve. I completed my freshman year of college at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and decided now was the time. But, I wanted to make it worthwhile and do something exciting, so I decided to enlist and start the path to becoming an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician (my mom wasn't happy with the choice).
