LOWER SCHOOL GRADE 4 BRADFORD WOODS TRIP
Our Grade 4 students will spend three days and two nights at Bradford Woods Camp in Martinsville, IN. Teachers and students will participate in many fun outdoor activities and learning experiences related to the Unit of Study.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Travel Auction is our largest event and 2019 will mark the 25th anniversary year for this signature fundraiser. We are seeking volunteers to take on a variety of roles, ranging from event chairs, committee chairs, to committee members helping with event planning, marketing, silent and live auction procurement, and cultivation and solicitation of sponsors.
If you are interested in volunteering for the 2019 Travel Auction we invite you to complete the 2019 Travel Auction Volunteer Interest Indicator .

ENRICHMENT CLASS UPDATE
Music & Movement will not meet today. The instructor will be away. She will return for class on Tuesday 9/25. Grade 4 students who miss enrichment classes on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday this week, due to the camp trip, will receive a credit for the missed class.

SCORES:
Last Saturday Girls Varsity Cross Country competed in the Golden Spike Invitational hosted by Decatur Central High School. There were 18 teams competing and the Gryphons finished 10th. Individually Claire Kaneshiro 7th, Enma Tur Llobell 41st, Lindsey Nickel 67th, Dilhara Moonesinghe 69th, Juliet Vasey 80th, Lynn Zhong 86th, Emily Chao 89th. The Varsity Cross Country teams will run in the Sheridan Invitational today.
Grade 4-Middle School Cross Country Bathesda Results: Finnegan Duffy-Broderick 17.25 1/44, Owen Rifkin 12.01 26/44, Abby Moyers 13.16 1/49, Marshall Abouamara 22.05 44/49, Laure Daufenbach 13.42 2/49, Isabella May 17.43 26/49, Ellie Rayhill 24.05 48/49, Aoife Lien 19.23 35/49, Blair Breeden 24.03 47/49, Layla McCanna 16.57 24/49, Eleni Pantzer 13.58 3/49, Umay Ozsoy 19.13 34/49. The Girls team won first place.
Monday night, Boys Varsity Tennis lost to University High School 1-4. Jackson Payton won at #1 singles. 
Last night Girls Varsity Volleyball continued their home court winning streak with a victory against Crispus Attucks in three sets! Shout-out to Freshman Maddie Hamby with her first career kill! Great team effort all around! 
Boys Varsity Soccer won 4-0 against Providence Cristo Rey High School Tuesday. It was a really good team effort for the win. Olivier N'Tala scored all 4 goals. 
The first set was a close one but Girls 7/8 Grade Volleyball lost to Traders Point Christian Academy last night, 22-25 and 22-6.
