NO MUMS
Mums are a Texas homecoming staple. We love Texas, we love mums, but we also respect the instructional time in the classroom and the peace in knowing we will not be putting on our UPS hats in the office, playing delivery man to each student receiving a mum. The truth is that they are a huge distraction to what our students and teachers are working to accomplish in the classroom. As a result,
mums, garters, and homecoming flowers will not be allowed during the school day or during the pep rally throughout homecoming week
. Any student who brings a mum or garter will be required to leave it in their locker until dismissal.
