Cathy Christoff Kaminski will be offering Community Yoga twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm, in the All-Purpose Room (no fee).

Tuesday Morning Study GroupStudygroup

Heifer Market
Sun. Nov. 17th, 11:30

Heifer Market will fill our Atrium and Main Lobby with calls of "Pigs!" and "Bees!" by our little ones, who are raising funds for Heifer International, an organization we have supported for years. Their mission is to work with communities to end world hunger and poverty and to care for the Earth. Each year, with our help, we "teach a man to fish" and empower families to turn hunger and poverty into hope and prosperity. Attend. Help. Love.  Click here for photos from last year!

Advent Fest
 Sunday, December 1, 3-6 pm  

Join us for our annual family Advent Festival!  Come share the joy of the season with other church families and friends when we create holiday crafts and talk at the table.  Bring your own sandwich and side dish to share.  There will be a short service in the sanctuary afterwards when we'll sing carols of the season.  Sign up in the Main Lobby or here ($10 per family + convenience fee).  Contact Mindy Post or 630-215-7496) with questions.

Onward House Gift Appeal
Begins Sun., Nov. 24th


Onward House, located in Chicago, has given us this year's list of names and wishes of 200 children that need our help. It's SO simple: beginning Sunday, November 24th, grab a name from the table, in the Atrium pick up or order a toy or clothes from the child's list. Box, wrap, bring to church by Sunday, December 15. Done. Happy child, Merry Christmas.

Order Poinsettias 

 Order your poinsettias to adorn the sanctuary for Christmas.  Poinsettias may be offered in celebration or memory of a loved one or dedicated to someone special.  Order forms may be found in the Main Lobby.  Cost is $16.50 per plant, available in red, pink or white; orders must be received by Monday, December 9.  Contact Jennifer Darnall with questions.

Onward House Coat DriveCoats 
Deadline November 16th! 

Are you finding that your kids last years gently worn coats, boots, hats, gloves etc. don't fit anymore?  Or that you have too much winter gear and need to pare down? We are collecting gently used winter gear for Onward House.  Please bring any gently worn items, for both kids and adults to church and put in the white box in the Main Lobby marked "Winter Coats."  Have too many to bring to church?  Call/e-mail Laura Peccarelli

Glen Ellyn Food Pantry Thanksgiving Appeal 

T he Glen Ellyn Food Pantry will once again collect donations so that Thanksgiving meals are available to hungry neighbors. Consider helping the Pantry help our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Any amount will help. Pantry clients will be able to select items they will enjoy for their holiday meal. Did you know that we host Glen Ellyn Youth and Family Services in our building? Their mission is "to promote the mental health and well-being of  youth, families and the larger Glen Ellyn community through the  provision of professional counseling services and community based  support and education", helping so many in our community. Please join community members at this year's Soup and Bread Fundraiser at St. Mark's right here in Glen Ellyn.
