Halloween Fright Fest continues with foreign film The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, a mystery thriller about a writer who witnesses an unsuccessful murder and finds himself in a police investigation - and in the sights of a serial killer. With stylized violence and a deadly thriller plot, this film was a huge box office hit. Tuesday, October 29 at 7:00pm.
The dead come back to life and eat the living. Several people barricade themselves inside a rural Pennsylvania farmhouse in an attempt to survive the night. This indie horror was such a culturally treasured film that it was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Film Registry! It stunned audiences with its grisly nature but went on to become critically acclaimed. Wednesday, October 30 at 7:00pm.
A Phoenix secretary embezzles forty thousand dollars from her employer's client, goes on the run, and checks into the remote Bates Motel, run by a young man under the domination of his mother. The grand finale of this year's Fright Fest, Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho was praised as a major work of cinematic art, changing the thriller genre forever. Thursday, October 31 at 7:00pm.

A story of adventure and humanity in the American heartland, The Bikes of Wrath follows five Australian friends as they attempt to cycle from Oklahoma to California in honor of John Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath. On the way they seek to understand how the country has changed since the Dust Bowl migration of the 1930s, exploring the wealth gap, religion, immigration and the American Dream.   Tuesday, November 5 at 7:00pm.

The film followed Clarence after China and documents his transcendent awakening and eventual passing.

The true story of a Bletchley Park code breaker in WWII who misses her destiny but who never loses her strength of character, written and performed by June Ballinger.

June Ballinger is an actress who has worked on Broadway, off Broadway, regional theatre, television, and film. June served as Artistic Director of Trenton’s Passage Theatre Company for 22 years (now under direction of Ryanne Domingues). Additionally June teaches beginning and intermediate acting to a mixed class of teens and adults for the Bucks County Playhouse.
