Dear MHAS supporter,
It's hard to believe that today marks
one year since Jim's passing
. Today, we can unequivocally say that Jim left this world a better place than he found it. For 40 years, Jim fought to change and develop systems to better serve people with mental health disabilities and to allow them to live with the
dignity and respect that they deserve
.
For us at MHAS,
Jim was more than just a colleague
working tirelessly from the corner office to protect and advance the rights of people with mental health disabilities; he was our
dear friend
and
flip-flop-wearing leader
. We consider ourselves tremendously lucky to have worked alongside him and are proud to continue his legacy.

We truly appreciate your continued support of Mental Health Advocacy Services and the work that we do. We hope that you get a chance to enjoy this beautiful Saturday outdoors somehow with friends and family as Jim so often did.
