Often in the Multifamily Industry, the compliance department is seen as the "enemy", always making it hard to move residents into communities. This isn't the case for our compliance team at TFJG. There is no doubt they are tough and thorough, but they aren't the "enemy" and they always want to be able to approve files and move people in as much as the on-site teams do.

The Compliance Department
Marie Peace, Vice President of Compliance, said "One of the things I'm most proud of is the relationship between my department and our teams on site. I hear very often from our communities how supportive and nice Ashlee and Dee are and how much they appreciate what they do".
Marie, Dee and Ashlee are very passionate about their work but the most rewarding aspect to them is "being able to help the site team and encouraging them to be confident in what they do", said Ashlee. The compliance department encourages all team members to learn and to achieve the HCCP designation. "Knowledge is the best tool and when our teams take the time to learn more about the tax credit program and the important of doing it correctly everyone benefits." said Marie.

Check out the newest addition to The Franklin Johnston Group! The Clairmont at Campostella Station in Norfolk, Virginia has officially opened. : Assistant Community Manager at The Orchards
A.J. was nominated by her SCM, Connie Hill, for going above and beyond her expectations as the new ACM for The Orchards. "A.J. stepped into the ACM position when the previous ACM retired after 7 years at the property. Senior residents do not like change and were upset at the office. A.J. stepped in boldy and learned the residents' names and faces. She planned and executed activities and events and made her available to "talk" when a resident needed it.
Alicia Banks: Maintenance Supervisor at Waters Edge
Alicia was nominated by her CM, Lina Quintero based on her good character and great work ethic. Alicia is always willing to get things done. The community was short staffed with maintenance, and Alicia has continued to perform and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Brandon James: Leasing Specialist at Crescent Place
Brandon was nomiated by CM, Neily Maldonado for his hard work and for being a great team player. He has gone above and beyond to ensure month end close out looks as best as possible. He is a team player and always willing to learn.
Samantha Wallace: Community Manager at Catalina Crossing
Samantha was nominated by her ACM, Natalie Nethery. "Samantha is always polite to customers and most importantly she's always looking for ways to give back to the community while involving our wonderful residents. She has helped the property organize wonderful drives for the City of Chesapeake."

The Doorman goes Mobile
Greenwich Village has received positive feedback about the app, according to its community manager, Mia Hurley.
"It allows our residents to conveniently place and follow-up on work orders and also pay their rent through the app ensuring that is always arrives on time," Hurley said. "It has caught the attention of many new applicants when mentioned during our scheduled tours and they love the idea."
