El Posadero
Tempranillo
2012
This Tempranillo from central Spain is made from organically grown, dry farmed, old vines in the higher altitude of Arganda del Rey. The wine is full-bodied with soft tannins and rustic undertones to its ripe dark and blue fruit flavors. This is a great red to have on hand as we head into the fall.

- 1:00 - 7:00pm
We'll begin today's tasting with Misty Cove Sauvignon Blanc ($15.99), a bright, racy New Zealand white with moderate citrus flavors and tropical undertones, followed by Dr. Hans VonMuller Dry
Riesling ($10.99), a totally dry German Riesling with stone fruit flavors and a weighty mouthfeel and texture, and we'll finish off the chilled wines with Hans Wirsching Rosé ($17.99), a dry German rosé based on Pinot Meunier with red berry fruit and a clean finish. For reds we have El Posadero Tempranillo ($13.99), a medium to full-bodied Spanish red with spice notes on the nose and rustic dark fruits on the palate, and we'll finish things off with Walker Napa Valley Red ($11.99), a full-bodied red blend from Napa Valley with concentrated red fruit flavors and a mocha on the finish.
