Principal's Message
April 21, 2017
Dear Families and Friends of OLQP,
This week, the students have continued to pray the Divine Mercy Novena in preparation for the great feast day of the Divine Mercy. This beautiful prayer comes to us from St. Maria Faustina Kowalska of the Blessed Sacrament, a Polish nun who lived during the 1930's. It was she who provided the inspiration and direction for the well-known portrait of Our Lord with the inscription, "Jesus, I trust in You." The message of God's love and mercy for His children is nothing new. The messages from St. Faustina are a powerful reminder of who God is and has always been. God, by His very nature, is Love and Mercy Itself. It is noteworthy that the world was given this gift at a time when World War II was beginning.  Each day of the novena, a particular group of people are offered up in prayer. The students are encouraged to complete the novena on Saturday and attend Divine Mercy services in their home parishes on Sunday. As always, continue to pray for peace.
As we are quickly approaching the end of this amazing school year, simultaneously plans are in the works for next year. This is a great time to reach out to friends and co-workers and invite them to tour the school. Prospective students are welcome to shadow a class. Tours are available by appointment. "Word of mouth" is the best marketing strategy. Share the good news... OLQP...Instilling Knowledge; Inspiring Faith...really says it all!
Thank you for being part of the mission and ministry of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic School.

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam,
