Principal's Message
Hello EAMS Students and Families:
Despite the frigid weather, we’ve had an exciting week at the middle school! Our boys basketball teams kicked off their season with their first two games this week. We look forward to seeing these teams grow and represent EAMS with pride over the course of their season.
As well, the EAMS Student Council has been working hard to raise funds for Lakeland Animal Shelter. Regardless of the cause, it is always fantastic to see our young leaders giving back to the community. We are very proud of them.
In classrooms this week, there has been a tremendous amount of collaboration amongst students. Problem-solving is typically identified as the most important skill for students as they strive to become college and career ready. However, I strongly believe that learning collaborative skills is paramount at the middle-school level. Connecting with peers in a positive and productive manner towards reaching a goal is incredibly valuable.
We’re off to see our former students compete in the State Soccer Tournament, and we’re looking forward to next week’s Book Fair and PTO event next Friday in conjunction with the National Guard.
Thank you and have a great weekend!
