 
Founder's Day and Volunteer Appreciation Celebration!
The 9th annual MTF Founder's Day and Volunteer Appreciation Celebration was held Wednesday, April 12 at the Gorton Center.
This year MTF highlighted it's partnership with the Lake County High Schools Technologly Campus. Students from many of the various programs icluding: firefighting, cosmetology, certified nursing assistant, early childhood education and culinary arts to discuss the impact the Tech Campus has had on their lives. The Culinary Arts students prepared and served an amazing gourmet selection of appetizers and desserts. The evening was capped off by thanking all of our volunteers and presenting the Founder's Awards.

Barbara Monsor will be honored by the Rotary Club of Chicago on May 16, 2017 at the Union League of Chicago. Annualy the RotaryOne, founded in Chicago, honors non-Rotarian, Chicago women, who exemplifiy Rotatry's motto of Service Above Self.
