Today, the teachers participated in the diocesan professional development day held at Pope Francis Preparatory School.  The keynote speaker focused on maximizing instructional time and the breakout sessions centered on interactive and engaging teaching strategies.  Certainly a beneficial day for everyone!

Today is also the day that we are transforming and decorating our gym in order to hold our last 10th anniversary celebration: our Gala. We are looking forward to celebrating the mission of Catholic education with the Bishop and a room full of dedicated supporters. Our school has many things to be proud of and it should be a fantastic evening!

Enjoy your weekend.

Peace and God's blessings,

Ms. Ann E. Dougal
Principal

 SMA Visitors

A Visit From Our Firefighter Friends!

Our friends from the Springfield Fire Department came for a visit this week much to the delight of our preschool friends!  The students watched in amazement as the ladder truck went high in the sky and the sirens filled the air.  The firefighters taught the children about fire safety and gave them tours of their trucks!

Thank you for a great visit!

 Trunk or Treat

What A Blast!

Hundreds of students and their families had a blast at the Trunk or Treat event last night!  The ghosts and goblins were out in full force as they stopped at some pretty cool and scary trunks to grab a treat.

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make this a great night!
