Reserve Your Yearbook Now
Even though the 2020 color yearbooks are not distributed until May, NOW is the time to place your order for a book. Extra yearbooks are not available in May. Only what is ordered is delivered to YC for distribution.

To make yearbook ordering easier, York Catholic is participating in the online sales management program offered through Balfour Publishing. Balfour handles the order taking and payments allowing the yearbook advisor and staff additional time to produce the best yearbook ever.

Order NOW! Go to www.balfour.com and click on GO under LOCATE YOUR SCHOOL and follow the instructions, or  call the Balfour ordering line at 1-800-944-5930. Please do not send any money to school with your student!

Special Note for Parents of Seniors:
There will be a special section of the 2020 yearbook reserved only for parents of seniors to send a message to their senior son or daughter. It is a great keepsake and a wonderful way to congratulate your child for all of their years of hard work. The rectangular space costs $20 and can be in full color with a total of 30 words and 1 picture. Photos should be in good condition and printed on photo paper. Please click here for the Senior Form and return it with your payment (checks made payable to York Catholic High School) to Mrs. Nagley no later than Tuesday, November 19.
Giant A+ School Rewards
Be sure to use your Giant A+ card when purchasing your Thanksgiving supplies!

Giant's A+ School Rewards program offers York Catholic a unique opportunity to receive a percentage of sales made by YC families, which supports our students' educational experiences directly by providing important funding. Participation in this program does not deduct personal bonus points from your individual Giant card. In fact, it allows you to leverage those hard earned (or spent) points to do good for YC!

If you have registered in previous years to support York Catholic, you DO NOT need to re-register your card.

For those new to the program, please follow these steps to register your bonus card account:
  • Visit giantfoodstores.com and click on REGISTER. Follow the prompts to create your online account.
  • Once logged in, select "MY ACCOUNT," followed by "MANAGE MY ACCOUNT," then "REWARDS & SAVINGS" to select York Catholic High School as your beneficiary school.
  • You'll need your 11-digit BonusCard® number and the School ID number which is 21307. If you need assistance, call 1-888-814-4268 option 1.
To earn points, be sure to use your registered BonusCard® each time you shop at any Giant, and you will earn CASH for York Catholic. You can confirm your school selection by logging into your account. The program runs through March 14, 2020. Thank you for your support!

All Souls Day - Commemoration of the Dead
In the heritage of the Roman Catholic Church, November 2 has been set aside as a day when we remind ourselves to pray for those who "have gone before us, marked with the sign of faith." The entire month of November is then dedicated to pray for them and for the healing of memories in their regard. Faculty and students are invited to submit the names of deceased loved ones to be remembered in prayer throughout the month of November. Their names will be placed on the altar in the chapel and commemorated during Mass. If your family wishes to provide additional names to be included in our month-long remembrance and prayer, please email the names to us at [email protected] and we will be sure to add them to those already in the chapel.
Student Activity Photos

Students involved in extra-curricular activities will have their group pictures taken for the yearbook the morning of Friday, November 15. Students are to dress in school uniform.
State Champions
York Catholic High School was named a Pennsylvania State Top 10 School and Pennsylvania State Champion for the month of October from vocabulary.com. Every month, thousands of schools across the US and Canada compete in the Vocabulary Bowl, a competition to see which schools can master the most words. During the 2018-19 school year, students at more than 39,000 schools around the U.S. and Canada participated, so winning these awards is quite an achievement. Congratulations YC students!
