Principal's Message
Our fifth graders will present the All-School Living Rosary on Thursday, October 11th at 9:00am. October is the month dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary, and our fifth graders will take an active part to help us visualize and understand the importance of it in our spiritual lives. Pope Francis states, “Use this powerful instrument, which is the prayer of the holy rosary, often so that it may bring peace to hearts, and families to the church and to the world.” In addition to the opportunity with fifth graders tomorrow, all students and families are invited to our family rosary held after school each Thursday in the church.

Also, I strongly encourage all parents to pay their PTA/Boosters dues online through pay.gaschool.org . Supporting these organizations directly impacts our ability to provide musical and athletic opportunities for all our angels. PTA supports our school students and staff constantly, including a recent teacher luncheon and an upcoming science enrichment opportunity with COSI!

God Bless,
Corey

Athletic Boosters News
Lil' Angels Registration for K-2 is Now Open
Lil’ Angels Athletics is a program offered to boys and girls in grades K-2. The program will expose the children to several sports with basketball and volleyball being the main emphasis of the program. The “season” will be 8 sessions starting after the Thanksgiving Break and ending in February; school calendar/gym availability will determine the exact dates. A small fee of $25 is charged to each participant.

The goal of the program is to offer children in grades K, 1 & 2 the opportunity to interact with their friends in an extracurricular environment while learning fundamental skills in sports that they may want to participate in starting in 3rd grade. It is a non-competitive program and a great way for the children to learn the basic rules of team sports while being with their friends. And most importantly, we have fun!
Registration is through the Boosters website . If this is your first time registering for a sport at GA, you will need to register and create a profile for your child.
For additional information about the program, please visit the  GA Boosters website  or contact Nicole Schneider directly.

40 Days for Life
Over the past years Guardian Angels parish has volunteered to cover two of the 40 Days for Life event where we have someone continually praying from 7:00am to 7:00pm at Planned Parenthood’s abortion facility. Many of our working parishioners try to cover our early and late hours and those available during the day fill the hours in between.

Please consider joining us as many of our “regulars” can no longer participate mainly for health reasons. Sign up at 40daysforlife.com/cincinnati or on the bulletin boards in the gathering space. The next GA dates is Wednesday, October 31st . Questions? Problems signing up? Contact Luann Rowekamp . A flyer for the campaign is attached

Cookie Ministry
Guardian Angels School Cookie Ministry teams up with the Parish Parish Peanut Butter group to feed families in need. The Peanut Butter group makes 1,500 peanut butter and bologna sandwiches. GA students donate cookies. St. Francis Seraph Church in Over-the-Rhine gives the food to families in need. Students are asked to bring in two dozen cookies, brownies, or rice krispie bars on their classroom's designated day. They do need to be bagged, two treats per bag. All 3rd grade classes are responsible for the next donation on Monday, October 15th . A   complete schedule for the school year is attached.
School Calendar

All other event information is posted in Rediker, which is password protected.
Amazon Shopping to Support GA
You can now support Guardian Angels Parish when you shop at Amazon.com! GA is a newly registered participant in the AmazonSmile Program. You can  sign-up  to have a portion of your purchase sales come back to Guardian Angels. Kroger Community Rewards
Have you signed up for Kroger Community Rewards and designated GA as your beneficiary? The more families who register, the more money our school receives through the program. Kroger Community Rewards offers a great way for you to support our school's technology fund...and you don't have to spend a penny. Register your rewards card  online  and select Guardian Angels as your beneficiary. You can search for GA or use our NPO number, 80200. The amount Guardian Angels receives depends on the points our supporters rack up while grocery shopping. Enrolling does NOT impact the points you use to redeem for discounts at the pump.c
