Widener University Leadership Award
Frankunas

Congratulations to Mikhala Frankunas who was selected to receive the Widener University High School Leadership Award!  The award is given to those students who have been nominated because they have made a difference in a significant way within their community.

Big Sister-Little Sister Day
Sophomores welcomed the freshmen at the Big Sister-Little Sister lunch.  Everyone had a blast with the Marshmallow Challenge to see which group of students would have the tallest free standing structure at the end of twelve minutes!

Open House
A huge thank you to all that attended our Open House this past Sunday. The spirit of the students of Saint Basil Academy was on full display as they welcomed families, sang Mamma Mia through the halls, and helped prospective students make slime! It was a great day for our school community, and it was made more special by the many families that visited looking to gain a little more insight into how SBA builds the minds of future women leaders.

Community Day
A huge thank you to all of our students, teachers, and staff members who helped make our 5th Annual Community Day such an awesome event! The girls did amazing work everywhere that they went. Thank you to our parents for your support and for donating food items. And our sincere thanks to all the groups with whom we partnered: Briar Bush Nature Center, Face to Face Soup Kitchen, Holy Redeemer Chinese Catholic School, Holy Redeemer Garden, Holy Redeemer Thrift Shop, Our Lady of Confidence, Philabundance, Saint Helena's/Incarnation, Saint Martin of Tours, Saint Joseph's Manor, and The Breathing Room Foundation. We truly lived our mission today-educating leaders through service and compassion!
