Frances Tiafoe Triumphs in Delray Beach

Frances Tiafoe became the youngest American since Andy Roddick in 2002 to win an ATP World Tour Singles title. He defeated five higher-ranked opponents en route to the championship including a victory over world #10 Juan Martin del Potro in the round of 16

The 20-year-old attributed his success to the time he had spent training at JTCC prior to Delray Beach. Click here to read the Washington Post's coverage of how his time in College Park helped him prepare for a major breakthrough on tour.

School Reading Group

One extracurricular feature of the JTCC School is an optional reading group.  This year a number of middle school students are involved. They all read one novel per month, chosen from a list of current and recent young adult fiction.

The students then discuss each month's book as a group with Mark Santangelo, Director of the JTCC School, and are responsible for a writing assignment due a few weeks  after the book talk.

The team comprised of Mason Robins and Chase Cahill-Welsh have been leading the way so far this academic year!
