Tammy Cash
Executive Vice-President and Head of Marketing, Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) Inc.

Tammy Cash is the Executive Vice-President and Head of Marketing for Horizons ETFs, overseeing all advertising, media and marketing for Canada, the U.S and Latin America. Before joining Horizons ETFs, she was the Vice-President, Director and Head of Marketing at Front Street Capital. A marketing executive with more than 20 years of international financial services experience, she has created a wide variety of marketing strategies designed to increase awareness, revenue and profitability. Cash is also the Co-Head of Marketing for the Canadian Chapter of Women in ETFs. Founded in January 2014, Women in ETFs encourages and supports women in the ETF industry in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Alexandra Krystal
Managing Director and Business Strategy / Sales Head Prime Services Group, CIBC Capital Markets

Alexandra Krystal joined CIBC in August of 2017 as Managing Director and Sales Head, Prime Services Group. Ms. Krystal’s responsibilities include the strategic development and implementation of CIBC’s U.S. Prime Brokerage Launch Initiative, including oversight of core activities involving product development and sales & marketing. In her current role, Ms. Krystal is also responsible for managing senior client relationships with alternative asset managers, overseeing the build-out of client-facing strategies and providing ongoing guidance with respect to structure, industry best-practices and forward looking trends in the Prime Brokerage market.

Prior to joining CIBC Capital Markets, Ms. Krystal worked in the Hedge Fund Consulting Practice at a professional services firm, where she led the Prime Brokerage Hedge Fund Strategy. Ms. Krystal developed their Prime Brokerage Advisory business, where she and her team worked along-side Prime Brokers to perform business assessments considering metrics across infrastructure, legal entity analysis, balance sheet, human capital, risk, client composition, and fixed / variable technology costs. She also developed an industry-leading Treasury Function Study to substantiate the evolution of the financing role, based on a detailed examination of collateral management processes, counterparty risk management practices, margin replication methods, Prime Brokerage relationships and funding technology solutions. Ms. Krystal chaired that same firm’s Emerging Manager Hedge Fund Strategy and was involved in emerging manager consulting, including start-up considerations and franchise-sized best practices across middle and back office functions.

Ms. Krystal also held senior sales and relationship management roles within the Prime Brokerage groups at two other financial institutions. In this capacity, she helped bring new clients to the respective banks, grow client profitability within Prime and was a conduit into the broader banking organization.

Ms. Krystal graduated from Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science & English) and from Columbia University with a Master of Business Administration (Finance).

Ms. Krystal spent 2 years as the Co-Chair of Hedge Fund Cares Committee of Hope and 7 years on the Committee, she is an Angel Member of 100 Women in Finance and a Board Member of The Adam Gaynes Foundation.

Kevin McCreadie
President and CIO, AGF Investments Inc.

Kevin McCreadie provides direction and leadership to AGF’s investment management teams and leads the firm’s global institutional business. Mr. McCreadie brings more than 30 years of investment management experience to AGF, with extensive expertise in retail and institutional asset management, direct portfolio management and over a decade of combined experience as CIO for two major U.S. financial services firms.
Prior to joining AGF, Kevin was President and CIO of PNC Capital Advisors, LLC, a division of PNC Financial Services Group, one of the largest U.S. diversified financial services organizations. While there, he was responsible for leading the firm’s institutional effort and overseeing over $58 billion in AUM. Kevin began his career in 1982 at J.P. Morgan where he held progressively senior positions, ultimately becoming a U.S. large-cap equity manager. He went on to join Brown Investment Advisory where he was a Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager. His experience includes a focus on portfolio construction and enhancing investment processes as well as managing asset allocation and alternative strategies for clients.

He is a CFA charterholder and has an MBA in Finance from the Wharton Graduate School of Business.

Katherine Short
Director and Portfolio Manager, RBC InvestEase

Katherine Short is a Director and Portfolio Manager at RBC InvestEase where she is responsible for managing the team of portfolio advisors and managing the ETF portfolios. Previously Katherine held various roles with Vanguard Investments Canada where she managed institutional client relationships. Katherine is a CFA Charterholder and a board member for Orchestra Toronto.

Ed Dodig
Managing Director and Head, Equity Markets, Global Markets, CIBC Capital Markets

Mr. Dodig is responsible for CIBC’s global equities business including sales, trading, underwriting, prime brokerage, alternative execution services and research. He is a member of the Global Markets Executive Committee.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Dodig spent 2 years as Managing Director and Head, Global Financial Solutions Group. He was responsible for managing a global cross-asset sales team that delivers capital markets products and solutions to Pension Plans, Asset Managers, Insurers, Hedge Funds and Central Banks.

Over the last 24 years he has also held numerous positions within Wholesale Banking, including Managing Director and Head of CIBC’s European and Asia Pacific Region based in London , Managing Director and Head of CIBC’s Retail Solutions Group, Head of Retail and e-Commerce Foreign Exchange; Executive Director, Foreign Exchange Sales; and Imperial Service Advisor, all with CIBC.

Mr. Dodig has a BA from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
