Lee Clerk helps 545 customers get back on the road

The Lee County Clerk's office recently joined a statewide initiative designed to save customers money and help them get back on the road. I'm proud to announce that nearly 850 Lee County customers saved a collective $1,009,577 during the Operation Green Light event. The driver license reinstatement initiative also helped 545 people get back their license.

The event gave customers with overdue court payments a break on their collection fees and toll violations. Throughout the week, our office collected $191,691 to disburse to local and state government agencies;  3,692 court  cases were paid in full; and an extra 2,819 cases were setup on payment plans.
