Are you in a Comeback Community? Would you like to see your community "comeback?"

A Comeback Community has a history of economic excellence, followed by a period of tough economic decline and now - due to innovative strategies and people – it is coming back, but differently.

Join us on May 23rd to hear, discuss and connect with others as they share lessons learned in their Comeback Communities.

To begin the dialogue,  the Idea Exchange will start with four Comeback Communities - each in a different stage of comeback - to discuss their progression through these three stages:

THINK - The origins and genesis of their "Comeback"

GET - Identifying how they are got, and are getting the required resources

DO - Implementing their Comeback; their action steps and actors.

Others will be there who can help with your community's questions, offer assistance, and share lessons learned. Owners, developers, funders, investors, residents and the "comeback-er" - people have comeback to give-back - will be exchanging ideas and experiences.

Lunch will be on the Apollo 13 Theme: "Failure Is Not An Option" A presentation of various innovative ways to successsfully transfer ownership of existing in-town businesses to "comebackers" without burdening them with too much debt.

Our Goal: to foster and support a "Community of Comeback Communities", to support each other in the shared quest for their community's better future.
