NAMLE
NEEDS YOU.
You can make a difference and advance the mission of media literacy education.
Core Principles of Media Literacy Education
The purpose of media literacy education is to develop the habits of inquiry and skills of expression needed by critical thinkers, effective communicators, and active citizens in today's world.
|
|
Please consider an end of year donation to support media literacy education.
In 2016, we made NAMLE membership FREE so that we can build a movement for media literacy education around the country. Since then we have grown from 300 members to over 4,100 members. Our membership includes educators, community leaders, administrators, activists and media professionals - all dedicated to advancing the crucial competencies of media literacy.
While membership is free, our work is not. We must find alternative ways to raise funds in order to continue to support our members and partners and to organize the 2019 national conference and U.S. Media Literacy Week in 2018.
We cannot do this work without your help.
Please take a moment to show your support for a media literate society by donating to NAMLE.
