...and through his creation we learn much about him! 
With an abundance of creation to study, e lementary science students had much to share  about God in their science night presentations and displays. Throughout the grades, students have learned about light and dark, animals that crawl on their stomachs and animals that walk on four legs, stars bigger than we can image and atoms smaller than we can see--the list could go on. A job well done to all the students and teachers for a spectacular night!

LPA Art Work to Go to State
Congratulations to Catherine Judd and Mikayla Hawley whose art work has been selected by SCACS to be entered into a national competition, and Avery Denton whose artwork won runner-up in the SCACS state art competition.

For anyone who may be interested in moving close to the academy, this two bed room farmhouse with 5 acres is for sale.







How well do you know your teacher?
Secondary students and teacher learned more about each other as table teams competed in a teacher-based trivia game.

A Dino in Advertising
The secondary technology and video students practice their advertisement skills, from logo design to commercial creating, to promote a fictional cardboard box company.


A Bit of a Mess
Secondary art students created beautiful abstract art out of a bit of a mess by using floetrol and a heat gun. 

Practice Makes Perfect
Standing before an audience, second graders practice their solar system poem for science night.

Spring Sports and Spring Weather
The LPA golf team hosted and won their first match this week! Mariner golfer will host two more matches before taking time off for spring break.
Due to rain, the Lady mariners did not play this week. However, the undefeated girls gear up for a busy schedule this upcoming week with one home match and two away matches.
