Palo Cedro 2020 Church Directory
Wayne Gungl will take pictures in the Fellowship Hall before Sabbath School (9:15am to 10:00am) and after church on November 23, December 7, December 21, and January 4. We can use pictures from the 2016 directory, and add new members and those that need an update (such as death of spouse, growing kids and families) and members that were not in the 2016 directory. Palo Cedro Country Christmas
Join the Palo Cedro SDA church as we spread the good news of Jesus' birth with our community at this year's Palo Cedro Country Christmas. Volunteers are needed to help with our Christmas ornaments booth in keeping supplies stocked and greeting families as they come. If you're willing to help with this evening of service, December 6 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, please contact Pastor Catrina.
Christmas Light Scavenger Hunt
It's the special time of year when one and all can gather near to celebrate the birth of Christ with gifts, and food, and drinks, and lights. So come with us around the town when lights come up and sun goes down to race the clock and spread good cheer and raise funds for our kids this year! Join us for a Christmas Light Scavenger Hunt with fun prizes, free cocoa, and a Christmas movie on December 14 starting a 6:00pm. Entry is $20 per team/car and the proceeds will go to support the Palo Cedro Prospectors Pathfinder Club.
Mission Trip to Peru
Palo Cedro Youth will be joining other Shasta County Youth on a Mission Trip to Peru April 2-13. High School Students will Join the ADRA Warm Homes Initiative by installing solar heated walls in Cusco area homes. Youth attending the trip need to register by December 31st with a $200 deposit to reserve their spot. Contact Pastor Catrina for more details at [email protected].
Pastor Ron Mellor is Retiring
If you would like to send your congratulations to Ron and Valerie, use your phone or camera to record a brief 5-10 second message, and send it to Wayne Gungl at [email protected] before 12/20. Wayne will compile everyone's taped clips into a special Palo Cedro send-off, which will be played during a special (
SURPRISE!!!) recognition time after Ron's last sermon on 1/4/20.

Area Singles Ministry Bible Study
Singles Ministry Bible Study will be meeting Saturday, November 23rd at 3:00pm in Smith Hall at Redding SDA Church.
This ministry is for the singles in
Redding and the surrounding area who
are looking for fellowship and to grow in knowledge of God. Teenagers 15 and older are welcome
to attend as well.
