Board Approves New Principal for Edison Elementary

At its public meeting last night, the Board of Education approved a new principal for Edison Elementary School: Gregory Sahakian.

Mr. Sahakian has spent more than 25 years as a teacher and principal in San Lorenzo Unified School District. You can learn more about him here!


Haight Renaming Committee Seeks New Name Suggestions

The Haight Renaming Committee is now accepting suggestions for new names for Haight Elementary School. The committee was convened in the wake of revelations that Haight had held strongly racist views.

Suicide Prevention Resources Available
September 9 - 15 is National Suicide Prevention Week, which is dedicated to raising awareness about the risk factors and warning signs of suicide.
