Principal's Message
Hello!

One of the most common questions I get at the beginning of a new school year is: what is new for this year?

So, what is new for this year?
This year we are focusing on a commitment to excellence. What does that mean?  From our returning students, families and staff to our new students, families, and staff we are focusing on each other. We are investing in our people. I'll be honest- the past year we focused a lot of energy and time on getting more students in our classroom seats. Are we at our goal for total students? No, but our progress has been very positive in terms of growth!

Now, as we begin a new school year, it's time to focus on who is here. By investing our time, energy and resources on our current people, our growth will only expedite as we move forward. We are actively working on strategies and executing strategies to communicate with our new students and families. We are working very quickly "in house" to strengthen the culture of Loyola and a foster a renewed-commitment to excellence as we blend together people already in tune with the Loyola experience and those new to it. Much of this has to do with our mindset and how we communicate with each other and treat each other. There will be opportunities down the road for you to participate in this as we expand our "in-house" work to our greater school community.   This is just the start of a communication about some exciting things to come!

Odds & Ends:
  • I continue to hear the word on the street about Loyola is trending positive right now. Thank you all for your help in strengthening our community.
  • One of the ways we improve together is feedback. If you have an idea for me to write about or a question, please send it our way.
Have a blessed weekend!
