Generator Sales Tax Refund – use Florida Dept. of Revenue Forms.

If you purchased between 7/1/17 and 3/22/18, you must submit by Sept. 23, 2018
If you purchased between 3/23/18 and 12/31/18, you must submit within six months of purchase

Variance/Waiver Petition for Generators:

Deadline: Oct. 2, 2018

Remember - you MUST file a Variance/Waiver Petition if implementation will not be complete by January 1, 2019 . See waiver note below:

"If an assisted living facility can show in its quarterly progress reports that unavoidable delays caused by necessary construction, delivery of ordered equipment, zoning or other regulatory approval processes will occur beyond the initial extension date, the assisted living facility may request a waiver pursuant to section 120.542, F.S.” Rule 58A-5.036"

We are looking for members who can commit to participating on quarterly conference calls and attend at least one face-to-face meeting per year.

  • Education Committee – looking for 7 to 9 members to participate
  • Membership Committee – looking for 5 to 7 members to participate
  • Industry Partner Committee – looking for 5 to 7 members to participate
  • Legislative Committee – looking for 3 to 5 members to participate

We are also looking for members to serve as Region Chairs to host at least three meetings per year; provide a tour and network with legislators; attend local meetings in your area; and recruit new members.
