DTLA INSIGHTS
The LA Fashion District BID worked with Central City Association (CCA) on a custom Fashion District page for their launch of DTLA Insights -- an interactive data portal focused on DTLA that provides concrete numbers and statistics to measure progress. This data portal will be used to showcase information supporting advocacy priorities and communication of the BIDs impact in the LA Fashion District and DTLA.

DTLA 2020 SURVEY
Our neighbors at the Downtown Center BID are conducting their biennial survey, asking for your thoughts on the future of Downtown LA. From shopping and entertainment to community and quality of life issues, this is your opportunity to share what matters most to you about DTLA.

Please take about 10 minutes to share your feedback and be entered to win a $500 staycation package, a $200 spa experience, dinner and a movie at The Bloc, or one of a dozen local giveaways.

MAYOR'S OFFICE OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The Mayor's Office of Economic Development has partnered with Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses for Ready.Set. Grow!, a Business Webinar focused on providing small business owners the knowledge necessary to help their business grow and thrive. The upcoming webinars air LIVE on Wednesdays at 10am on October 30th and November 13th.

Also, in recognition of the significant impact women business owners have made on the Los Angeles economy and quality of life, Mayor Eric Garcetti and City Council declared November 19th to be Women's Entrepreneurship Day in Los Angeles. The goal of this celebration is to inspire, empower, and catalyze diverse, yet like-minded individuals, agencies, and organizations to help women-owned businesses realize their full potential. The event will be held on November 19th at City Hall, South Lawn from 9am - 2pm.

MAIN AND SPRING FORWARD, MAIN STREET PHASE I
The LA City Council approved a motion last week to add a 2-way bike lane to Main Street, instructing LADOT to change an existing plan to construct a 1-way lane. The 2-way bike lane is part of Councilman Jose Huizar's Main and Spring Forward project. The 2-way bike lane on Main Street will promote better traffic flow and increase safety for bicyclists and pedestrians.

The Fashion District BID, along with several local businesses and community partners, hosted 4 pop-up parks in Downtown LA.

Italian-American storefront Uncle Paulie's Deli has secured a new space in downtown. The Spring Street address comes with a full kitchen hood too.

Popular Brooklyn Restaurant Opens Sibling Rival Inside Downtown's New Hoxton Hotel
Sunday in Brooklyn team debuts big all-day ground floor restuarant just a block south of the Ace Hotel.

Hoxton Hotel Debuts in Historic Los Angeles Railway Building
Following a 2-year renovation, the historic Los Angeles Railway Building in the Fashion District has been revived as a boutique Hoxton Hotel.
