The mission of the Oxnard Chamber Political Action Committee is to seek out, evaluate qualifications of, and endorse candidates for public office who support the ideals of our free enterprise system. The Oxnard Chamber’s PAC generally evaluates candidates for local, county and state offices.
 
5 Things the Chamber Did for You Last Week
  1. Convened the Chambers of Commerce Alliance of Ventura & Santa Barbara Counties in our office. The CCA is a coalition of chambers of commerce and business organizations that act as a watchdog for business.
  2. The Board of Directors meeting was held at The Port of Hueneme and included discussion about the five local ballot initiatives, which the Board voted to oppose.
  3. OXYP connected young professionals during a networking breakfast at The Pierpont Inn, where they learned the hotel's history, toured the newly renovated Austen's Restaurant, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast.
  4. The Leadership Steering Committee met to finalize the last session of 2019 and discuss ongoing recruiting efforts for the 2020 class.
  5. Provided networking opportunities during happy hour hosted at the Ventura County Credit Union and featuring wine from Herzog Wine Cellars and food from Main Course California.
