SANDUSKY CENTRAL CATHOLIC SCHOOL NEWS

StopIt BULLYING REPORTING TOOL
Sandusky Central Catholic School is committed to creating a positive, healthy environment for all of our students to grow and thrive. One resource we are using to make sure we are meeting that benchmark is the StopIt bullying reporting tool. SCCS defines bullying as, "any intentional written, verbal, graphic, or physical act that a student or group of students exhibits toward other particular student more than once and the behavior causes mental or physical harm; it creates an intimidating, threatening or abusive educational environment for the other student. This includes electronic communication as well." If students are exhibiting these behaviors, StopIt may be used as an anonymous reporting tool for students and parents. All students will be able to access StopIt through the website: appweb.stopitsolutions.com. Our school code is: SCCSPanthers.

TLC COLLECTING POP TABS
SMCC's Teen Leadership Corps class is conducting a school-wide pop tab collection for the Ronald McDonald House in Northwestern Ohio. This is an ongoing drive that will continue into the spring of 2019. We are asking that our Panther Family help others in their time of need by keeping the tabs from aluminum cans. The Ronald McDonald House recycles the tabs, and with the money they receive from this recycling, they are able to provide meals and housing accommodations for their guests at no charge. Last year, the Ronald McDonald House helped over 500 families while their children received medical care in Toledo.
