Beloved Conversations Registration Now Open 
October 19th & 20th deep learning experience at UUFD exploring the role of race/ethnicity in individual and congregational lives. Spaces limited:   REGISTRATION .

The Recital Series will begin on Friday September 21st 7:00 pm

Members of the Long-Range Facility Planning Task Force 
would like to invite you to a much-awaited viewing of the proposed Conceptual Plans for the UUFD future campus during Coffee Hour. This will be available for the next several Sundays. Members of the Task Force will be available for questions.

DAYS FOR GIRLS WORK SESSION
Join us Wednesday September 26th 1:00-4:00 pm in Bowman Hall to assemble sustainable feminine hygiene kits for school girls in Kenya. Sign-up after worship service at Social Responsibility and Justice table, or  EMAIL TERESA.
 
FALL UUFD SPRUCE UP  
Saturday September 29th 9:00 am-12:00 pm  . Let's take back control of the Chamisa and other plantings, deadhead perennials, weed and with sufficient help, divide up the day lilies and iris. The fruit trees could use a little trimming, too. Bring gloves, hat, sunscreen, hedge trimmers and pruning shears . Stop by for an hour or so of exercise if you are not able to stay until noon.

Manna Soup Kitchen Fundraiser Saturday September 29 th 5:00-7:30 pm
Manna Soup Kitchen  to host its Bread for Manna F undraiser. Tickets are $50.00 and include: drink vouchers, fabulous food, and live music. The MC will be our very own Bob Griffith. For ticket information call 970-385-5095 ext. 3.

ACLU Special Presentation October 3rd 11:00 am in Sanctuary
Dr. Kathleen Hyne  from the American Civil Liberties Union will speak on "Preserving the Constitution in the Age of Trump." Lively and interactive! Free, open to the public, so invite your friends.

Needham Elementary 
New SRJ outreach - helping with instructional supplies for Needham Elementary. Read the newsletter article for more info. Donations accepted in the schoolbox at the SRJ table on Sundays.

The Basic Needs Team needs your help at the Manna Soup Kitchen. 
Volunteers needed to prepare & serve lunch on the 4th Tuesday &  4th Friday
of each month 9:00 am-12:30 pm. Also, volunteers are needed to pick up from Walmart on Tuesday 10:30 am & Friday 9:30 am at north and south City Markets to transport to Manna.  EMAIL MARILYN.
