Food Bank Volunteer
Starrco Plant Manager, Jerry Loeffelman, and his wife Debbie wanted to help people less fortunate than themselves. After looking at their options, they decided to volunteer at the
St. Louis Foodbank, a non-profit organization that fights hunger.
"It's fun," said Jerry. "They put kids and adults together. About 20 of us put together 780 boxes of food in 2 1/2 hours."
The food boxes were delivered to families in need the next day. Jerry and Debbie plan to volunteer again, and next time they will bring their children to help too.
"It will be a family affair," said Jerry. "What a way God works with all of us."
