Viva Vallenato Folk Music of Colombia!

The library will host the Viva Vallenato Cumbia Band during Hipanic Heritage Month. Enjoy the music, dance and learn about the stories behind this unique music. Snacks will be served. Everyone is welcome and there is no registration required. We hope to see you there!

*The library will close at 5:00 PM to set up for the show and then reopen at 6:00 PM with limited services.





Friends of the Fairview Library's Flapjack Fundraiser
Celebrate the Library’s 75th Anniversary and Support the Friends of the Fairview Library at their Flap Jack Fundraiser on Saturday, October 19th. Tickets are $10 for the breakfast* and can be purchased at the Library or online below.  

There will be a story time, a special guest from Llama Llama Red Pajama, raffle baskets, giveaways and more!

Meal includes: Pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and a beverage (coffee, juice, soda or tea.)

Microsoft Store Visits the Library!
Experts from the Microsoft Store in Paramus will teach two classes this month:

Paint 3D for children age 5-7
When: Thursday, October 10th at 3:30 PM
Coding for children age 8 and up
When: Thursday, October 17th at 3:30 PM
Space is limited and registration is required
A Taste of Salsa with Donay
Come join dancer, choreographer, instructor Donay for a Salsa Line Dance Workshop.

When: Monday, October 21st at 6:00 PM

Dancing is good for the body, mind and soul. Don't miss this opportunity to experience the joy of salsa. No partners necessary and everyone is invited to this FREE workshop.

Join the Friends of the Fairview Public Library.

Would you like to make a difference in your town? At your library? Look no further, join the Friends of the Fairview Library if you are interested in fundraising, networking and advocating for your library. Through dues and fundraising efforts, the Friends plan to support the library in a variety of way: purchasing library materials, sponsoring programs and more. 

Annual membership is $15.00 and the meetings will be held at the Fairview Public Library. Check the website or the library for meeting dates and times.
