Brigitte Salvans' passion was abstract expressionism, specializing in the technique of painting with spatulas. Her technique permitted her to create the multi layered, vibrant, and textured oils to bring life to the canvas.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maria Anna of Austria and Suzanne Pearson discuss the life and legacy of Charles I, or Emperor Karl, the last emperor of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Princess Maria Anna is the eldest child of Archduke Rudolf, son of Emperor Charles I. Suzanne Person is an established authority on the life, character and place in history of this important Hapsburg monarch.

Oktoberfest: Crafts & Drafts at Watters Creek is one big festival featuring artists showing their artisan arts and crafts, local craft beer vendors, live music, games and activities for adults and kids, and of course foods and drinks. Entry and parking is free for visitors. Enjoy more than 20 Oktoberfest beers from area craft breweries. 
Allen Heritage Guild Fall Event
Satur day, September 15, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at 450 E. St. Mary Drive
$2 Tour Fee

Allen Heritage Village will be open and tours are available for $2. Visit the Treasures Tag Sale at the Allen Christian Church to help restore the Farmhouse. Also, visit the Fallfest at the Senior Center.
