Similar to recovery from illness, the birth of a child is tended by Hashem's gevurah (strength). Speaker: Rabbi Nasan Maimon. Text: Likutey Halakhos, Choshen Mishpat 2, Choveyl BaChaveyro 3:4. Based on: Devarim 32:19 and Likutey Moharan 67.
"Repentance brings healing to he world."
– Rebbe Nachman, Sefer HaMidos, Teshuvah a-93
On Yom Kippur the Kohen Gadol tovels (immerses) in a mikveh (ritual pool) before each time he enters the Kadosh Kadoshim (innermost chamber of the Temple, the “Holy of Holies”). But why, asks Rav Nasan of Nemirov, does he immerse when he leaves? Text: Likutey Halakhos , Yoreh Deah 2, Hilkhos Sefer Torah 2:6. Speaker: Rabbi Nasan Maimon.
