Recycling Grants: Up to $40,000   

The Recycling Business Assistance Center (RBAC) is now accepting applications FROM COMPANIES for grant projects for the 2020 Recycling Business Development Grant.
 
Proposals are due by 5:00PM, Thursday, November 14, 2019.
   
The purpose of this grant program is to reduce the flow of solid waste to disposal facilities and encourage the sustainable recovery of materials from North Carolina's waste stream.
 
Examples include but are not limited to recycling collection infrastructure, processing equipment, facility improvements, or manufacturing investments to create new products using recycled materials.  
 
Applicants may request any amount of grant funding up to $40,000 - but the applicant must also be willing to provide at least a 50% cash match of the requested grant amount ($40K grant & $20K match).
 
In recent years, we have had a number of Catawba County companies win these grants, allowing them to pursue new recycled product lines and buy more equipment that would produce a value-added product from "trash".    
 
I would highly encourage you to at least review the application
and analyze the benefit of participation.

Hear from peers and other subject matter experts on topics such as apprenticeship, internships, generation Z in the workplace and building organizational culture.
